Mark Selby has officially been announced Snooker ‘Champion of the World’ 2021! 🎱

Mark Selby is now a four-time snooker world champion after beating Shaun Murphy in the 2021 World Snooker Championship Final. Selby won the final 18-15 in front of a full Crucible Venue equal John Higgins four titles. The only players to have beaten his 4 titles are Stephen Hendry (7), Steve Davis (6), and Ronnie O’Sullivan (6) have won on more occasions at the Crucible.


There were 108 century breaks made during the tournament (with an additional 106 made in qualifying), the highest being a 144 made by finalist Shaun Murphy in the second round!


Mark Selby made 12 centuries altogether in this mammoth tournament, including 142, 135, 134, 134, 134, 132, 132, 125, 121, 120, 107, and a 101!
